About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Expert to join our team at Merz Therapeutics. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will play a crucial role in developing integrated evidence generation strategies and implementing Real World Evidence (RWE) projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include creating integrated evidence plans, analyzing real-world data, and developing evidence-based reports. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GxP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated evidence generation strategies to support our product life cycle
  • Analyze real-world data to inform study design and ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GxP guidelines
  • Develop and maintain strong thought leader relationships for physician messaging
  • Align and execute IIT strategy, as well as results communication to internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Medical or scientific university degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmacy (MD, PhD)
  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry, with track record of successful RWE strategy and execution
  • Experience in planning, interpretation, and publication of clinical studies with innovative and/or digital design
  • Strong project management skills, ideally familiar with agile working methods
  • Fluent in English, German ideally at least basic conversational
