Transforming Sustainability Impact at Siemens AG

At Siemens AG, we're committed to driving sustainability transformations across industries and economies. As a seasoned climate professional, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our climate strategy and implementing impactful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance our GHG accounting capabilities and deliver climate-related disclosures for annual sustainability reports, CSRD, and ESG ratings.
  • Support the evolution of our climate strategy across businesses and functions, including SBTi target programs.
  • Drive decarbonization programs, focusing on scope 3 emission categories.
  • Implement effective GHG accounting and management tooling.
  • Act as a thought leader in decarbonization and climate protection, participating in company position development and operationalization.
Requirements:
  • Completed degree in industrial engineering, environmental technology, electrical engineering, or sustainability, with in-depth knowledge of technology and ideally an additional qualification in corporate sustainability management.
  • Long-term experience in sustainability, with deep expertise in CO2, climate protection, and GHG accounting, as well as long-term professional experience in a strategy function, business development, or consulting.
  • Experience with scope 3 GHG management is an advantage.
  • Expertise in leading complex projects with numerous partners and interdisciplinary project teams, enabling you to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative and practical solutions to sustainability challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with collaborators at all levels of the organization.
  • Presentation and business proficiency in German and English.
