Job Description

We are seeking an English speaking early childhood educator to join our team at Fröbel Bildung und Erziehung gGmbH. The successful candidate will work with children from 0-6 years, supporting their educational and developmental processes in a bilingual environment.

About Our Facility

Our Fröbel kindergarten Freudenberg is a dedicated and creative team that looks after 90 children from one to six years of age. Our pedagogy is characterised by openness, participation, and individualisation. We respond to the needs and interests of the children by incorporating them into our everyday educational activities.

Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of early childhood education and care in English.
  • Be in charge of or support the settling-in process.
  • Plan, implement, and document pedagogical processes and daily routines as part of a team.
  • Complete or support structured observation and documentation of the children's development and educational processes.
  • Develop successful cooperation with parents.
Requirements
  • Be in the process of learning German, with proven German language skills on at least level B1.
  • Be a state-certified educator or have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or similar qualification.
  • Be interested in developing your professional skills.
  • Be willing to learn more about education policies in Germany and how they are implemented in practice.
  • Believe that children should have opportunities to encounter foreign languages at an early age and define their own learning experience.
  • Be interested in working as part of a team to design and implement an in-house bilingual education concept.
