Job Title: English Speaking Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified English-speaking education professional to join our team at Fröbel Kindergarten Freudenberg in Berlin-Friedrichshain. As an English Speaking Early Childhood Educator, you will play a key role in implementing our bilingual education concept and supporting the development of our children.

About Our Facility

Our Fröbel kindergarten is a dedicated, humorous, and creative team that looks after 90 children from one to six years of age. Our pedagogy is characterized by openness, participation, and individualization. We believe in creating a stimulating environment that promotes the children's educational and developmental processes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of early childhood education and care in English.
  • Be in charge of (or support according to experience and qualification) the settling-in process.
  • Plan, implement, and document pedagogical processes and daily routines (as part of a team).
  • Complete (or support according to experience and qualification) structured observation and documentation of the children's development and educational processes.
  • Develop successful cooperation with parents.
Requirements
  • You are in the process of learning German. Proven German language skills on at least level B1 are a requirement for this position.
  • You are a state-certified educator (staatlich anerkannnte*r Erzieher*in) or have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or similar qualification.
  • You are interested in developing your professional skills.
  • You believe that children should have opportunities to encounter foreign languages at an early age and that they should define their own learning experience.
  • You are interested in working as part of a team to design and implement an in-house bilingual education concept.
