Job Description

EDEKA Leist & Steiner is a successful, family-owned company with a strong presence in Pfungstadt and Heidesheim. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Deputy Market Manager / Store Manager / Substitute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Operations: Ensure smooth business operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting Market Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Market Leadership team to achieve business objectives.
  • Leadership with a Personal Touch: Provide guidance and support to store employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Creative Merchandising: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a related field, such as retail management or business administration, is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the food retail industry.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Customer-Focused Approach: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
