About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at Abbott. As a key member of our EMEAP Business Operations Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and availability of our business platforms, driving strategic planning of product development and processes, and delivering efficient scalability and speed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute on EMEAP Digital Operations by shaping, developing, and implementing the ADC CX and SCM strategy and solutions in close alignment with global and local Digital Excellence strategy.
  • Identify, develop, and implement opportunities for digital innovations with internal and external partners to enable new business capabilities.
  • Ensure the run operation and enhancement of current applications in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute requirement definitions and priority setting on a program level and act as a business partner in large complex programs.
  • Be actively involved in innovation and change projects with different functional teams globally, on a regional or country level.
  • Build and maintain strong cooperation with BRM and IT teams, external 3rd parties, and countries.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes and implement new (smart and lean) processes where appropriate.
  • Shape the current digital infrastructure and IT landscape with delivery partners and develop and improve processes and quality along an omni-channel customer journey.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate diploma, university degree, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in e-commerce, supply chain, and customer experience areas with experience in building and using IT solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Med. Tech., Pharma, or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record in leading internal IT delivery teams and service provider governance.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills (classical and agile).
  • Action and solution-oriented team player who takes on accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to document business requirements and qualify and quantify their effects.
  • Distinguished business acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (other European languages a plus).
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%).
