About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Consultant to join our IFRS Grundsatzabteilung team at Mazars GmbH & Co. KG. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of financial reports and providing expert advice on international financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and provide expert advice on international financial reporting standards
  • Collaborate with our operational audit and consulting teams to deliver high-quality services to clients
  • Conduct research and analysis on new standards and regulations, and develop internal guidelines and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and materials for colleagues and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IFRS and financial reporting, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement
Requirements
  • Highly motivated and proactive individual with a strong interest in IFRS and financial reporting
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards, and experience in operational audit or consulting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Fluent German language skills, with a strong command of written and spoken English
