About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Consultant to join our IFRS Grundsatzabteilung team at Mazars GmbH & Co. KG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support in Handling Complex Inquiries: Provide expert guidance and support to clients on international accounting standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaboration with Operational Teams: Work closely with audit and consulting teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Analysis and Implementation of New Standards: Stay up-to-date with the latest IFRS developments and implement new standards and laws in our clients' organizations.
  • Research and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct in-depth research and contribute to the development of publications and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the development of our team's expertise.
Requirements
  • Motivation and Proactivity: Demonstrate a strong motivation and proactivity in IFRS-related topics, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Relevant Education and Experience: Hold a degree in economics with a focus on auditing or accounting, and possess basic IFRS knowledge and/or experience in audit.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Show a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest IFRS developments.
  • Language Skills: Be proficient in German and English, with strong PowerPoint skills.
