Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematician / Actuary / Physicist to join our Life and Health Reinsurance team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding and cultivating our worldwide annuity portfolio, working closely with international locations and our Data Analytics and Group Risk teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Modeling, pricing, and underwriting individual annuities and pension blocks, as well as preparing portfolio and product analyses.
- Providing customer support and presenting reinsurance solutions.
- Conducting data analysis and determining mortality assumptions.
- Developing individual strategies and concepts for the marketing of annuity reinsurance products.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in (business) mathematics or physics.
- Initial experience in the reinsurance industry, with a focus on longevity, is desirable.
- Proficiency in the use of Excel and R, as well as other programming skills.
- Strong communication skills, paired with proficient user skills in English and independent user skills in German.
- An interest in training as an actuary.
- An international mindset and willingness to travel.
