Senior Frontend Engineer

At Clear Ventures, we're revolutionizing the way we travel through technology. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our platform, making it seamless and enjoyable for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust frontend solutions using cutting-edge technologies, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the team to rapidly test and iterate on user feedback, driving product improvements and enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and frameworks, evaluating their potential to drive innovation and improve our product.
  • Develop highly reusable frontend components that can be dynamically mounted in any React frontend, promoting code efficiency and maintainability.
  • Apply your engineering expertise to automate processes, streamline workflows, and guide the team in making informed decisions.
Our Tech Stack:
  • Typescript/Javascript, React, React Native, ES6, Rest API/GraphQL, Styled components, Jest, Cypress, Kubernetes, GitHub
What We're Looking For:
  • A customer-focused individual with a passion for building frontends that users genuinely enjoy and find valuable.
  • A seasoned software developer with over 3 years of experience, writing clean, lean, and effective code, and a strong understanding of software development principles.
  • A pragmatic problem-solver who can analyze complex multi-domain problems, design modular solutions, and deliver end-to-end MVPs in an iterative and value-first approach.
  • An automator who removes repetition and snowflakes through scripting and automation tools, and has experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications across various stacks and technologies.
  • A tuning expert who can improve performance and analyze bottlenecks in production systems through benchmarks and stress tests, and is familiar with profiling frontends.
  • A team player who can guide and help teammates with planning and delivering high-quality software, and take on communication across teams.
