Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our Client Access & Digital Experience team at Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin.

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive elements of our complex web applications. You will be part of a team of fullstack developers, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative frontend solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new React features in our web application, handling relationships with backend developers and API design.
  • Interact and communicate daily with the Design team to provide solid and accessible UX.
  • Be involved in design decisions about the future of the application and platform.
  • Mentor less senior team members and implement SDLC best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in modern frontend development, including knowledge of React and core principles.
  • Proficiency in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and security threats (OWASP Top 10).
  • Expert-level JavaScript knowledge (vanilla and DOM) and proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Experience working with asynchronous programming and web networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.x specifications).
  • Verifiable Open Source contributions and involvement in the frontend community.
  • Robust English communications skills, in writing and speaking.
