Transforming Cloud Infrastructure
SAP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to contribute to the development of a secure and sustainable cloud edge infrastructure. This project aims to create an Open Reference Architecture (ORA) for a cloud edge infrastructure that includes intelligent optimization methods for data transparency and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a modern and harmonized continuous delivery approach with state-of-the-art toolchain.
- Develop a distribution and installer for software on a Kubernetes platform.
- Take end-to-end ownership from design, development, testing to rollout.
- Develop automations to streamline processes and operations.
- Contribute to open-source projects.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm.
- Excellent programming skills in Golang.
- Familiar with Git, open-source, and Linux.
- Min. 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering.
- Very good English skills written and spoken.
About the Team:
We are a team of highly motivated and skilled cloud-native engineers in Germany. Our recent projects include building a highly distributed and scalable Prometheus/Thanos landscape, developing an inventory service for virtual assets, and implementing OpenSearch for high-volume log analytics.
