**Job Description**

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to join our team at INIT Group. As an Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the deployment of our software solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan and execute software deployments, including installations, updates, and patches, to ensure smooth operation of our data analytics solutions.
  • Coordinate software migrations for our customers, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
  • Perform functional testing of deployed software and analyze any issues, working with the development team to resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all relevant information in our ticketing system and knowledge database, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to improve and automate processes in the deployment area.

**Requirements**

  • Relevant education or experience in IT, preferably in data analytics and software deployment.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Experience in deployment and software migration is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of server configurations, such as clusters and virtual machines, is beneficial.
  • Experience with Java and/or PL/SQL is desirable.
  • Fluent German and English language skills are required for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
