Functional Area: Procurement

As a Working Student at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement team in the development and construction phase of our onshore wind and solar projects in Europe & Australia. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the procurement team in managing service contracts and agreements for spare parts and other materials for wind turbine generators
  • Assisting in the analysis and evaluation of tender documents and creating price comparisons
  • Managing work in SAP for purchase requisitions from technical functions
  • Supporting the preparation of internal and external meetings
  • Providing ad-hoc support to ongoing projects
  • Contributing to the development of a lessons learned & supplier management database
  • Creating management presentations
  • Implementing framework agreements into the SAP system to enable automatic ordering
  • Placing call-offs against existing framework agreements
  • Converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders where automatic SAP contracts do not exist
  • Supporting invoice query management for purchase orders

Your Profile:

  • Ongoing studies in supply chain, project management, business administration, or engineering
  • First-hand experience in an international company with intercultural understanding and openness
  • Fluent English language skills, with German a plus but not required
  • Firm knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a creative mindset, curiosity, and proactivity
