About the Role

Join Bertrandt in a challenging and rewarding career as a Senior Thin Film Manufacturing Expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of thin film module relevant equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Technical assessment and selection of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Introduction and phase-in of new equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Tuning and maintenance of equipment to ensure consistent high-quality output.
  • Building and managing a team of experts to develop and sustain equipment technology capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field within the semiconductor industry.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience working on semiconductor thin film equipment introduction or development, preferably with Fab experience in SiC and silicon product introduction or production.
  • Successful mass production experience in leading factories in the industry is highly beneficial.
  • Good understanding of high temperature CVD, PVD, and evaporation equipment.
  • Familiarity with equipment suppliers in the industry and knowledge of equipment design architecture.
  • Ability to independently complete equipment transformations and improvements, analyze online machine abnormalities, and solve product issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with proficiency in German and/or Chinese being a plus.
  • Open-mindedness and adaptability in a cross-cultural working environment.
