Procurement Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing a team of tactical buyers and overseeing the purchase order process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve the purchase order process, ensuring timely delivery and inventory control.
- Directly manage a team of tactical buyers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with global supply chain teams to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Monitor and report supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Ensure data reliability for customs compliance and vendor master data accuracy.
- Meet yearly KPI targets and work systematically to ensure compliance with company rules and procedures.
Requirements
- Fluent English and German language skills.
- University/College certification and at least 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Materials management knowledge, including planning, inventory management, and purchasing.
Desirable Qualifications
- Engineering certification.
- Supply chain certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- SAP knowledge.
