Mechanical Engineer for High Speed Motors/Actuators

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Power Conversion Technology Laboratory in Nuremberg, Germany. As a Mechanical Engineer for High Speed Motors/Actuators, you will be responsible for designing, simulating, and manufacturing high-speed actuators or motors. Your expertise will be crucial in developing advanced power electronics products for various applications, including PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.
Key Responsibilities- Perform multibody simulations and develop CAD drawings for high-speed actuators or motors
- Design, simulate, and manufacture high-speed actuators or motors with a strong focus on axial flux motors
- Develop and test prototypes, and collaborate with suppliers to manage the fabrication process
- Identify necessary standards and perform tests to qualify prototypes and bring them to market
- Prepare technical reports, patents, and publications to share knowledge and expertise
- Engage in continuous research and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
- Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in designing and testing motors/actuators, with a strong preference for axial flux motors
- Experience in building test setups to test various actuator concepts
- Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanics and power electronics
- Excellent teamwork spirit, aptitude for learning, and proficient English communication and writing skills
