Mechanical Engineer for Advanced Power Conversion

Huawei Digital Power is a business unit within Huawei that provides Enterprise & Industry customers with innovative power electronics solutions. We are committed to integrating Digital and Power Electronics technologies to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient, green, and low-carbon power electronics products.
The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within Huawei's Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design, and Strategic Technology Planning. This team plays a crucial role in the Huawei Digital Power business, designing and developing power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.
Your Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-speed actuators and motors for various applications.
- Perform multibody simulations to optimize design and performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage the fabrication process of parts needed to assemble motors/actuators.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure high-quality products.
- Prepare technical reports, patents, and publications to document your work.
- Engage in continuous research in the field and attend relevant conferences to remain up-to-date.
- Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in designing and testing motors/actuators, with a strong preference for axial flux motors.
- Experience in building test setups to test various actuator concepts.
- Experience in researching, developing, and applying key technologies and devices in the field.
- Solid fundamental knowledge of mechanics.
- Good teamwork spirit, aptitude for learning, and proficient English communication and writing skills.
