Buyer MSI PSCI for R&T

For our client in the aerospace industry, we are seeking a motivated candidate for the position of Buyer MSI PSCI for R&T. The successful candidate will work as a Buyer for MSI & Interiors R&T projects, ensuring coordination with Airbus R&T, engineering, and program teams to formulate procurement strategies for various R&T projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure coordination with Airbus R&T, engineering, and program teams to formulate procurement strategies for R&T projects.
  • Participate in strategic projects such as #zeroE (Zero Emission) for PSCI.
  • Support a coherent and strategic approach to the supply chain for R&T, integrating market intelligence, suppliers' strategic positioning, and performance into sourcing decisions.
  • Manage procurement activities related to R&T, including running call for tenders, preparing and conducting negotiations, managing contract templates, and following up on execution and preparing amendments.
  • Through R&T projects, perform sourcing and screening activities to identify potential new partners.
  • Negotiate Cooperation and Research Agreements with Suppliers, securing IP rights for Airbus and enabling multi-sourcing and competitiveness for the future.
  • Develop a large network internally and externally.
  • Ensure professional and trusting supplier relationship management with major aeronautical industry players and uphold Company ethics and compliance standards in all dealings.

Personal Requirements:

  • Good communication skills to ensure information flow.
  • The ability to integrate into a team.
  • High level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent.
  • Willingness to travel on business (possible several times a year).

Studies:

  • Engineering (at least Bachelor's degree) or Business Administration (at least Bachelor's degree).

Professional Experience:

  • Purchase experience for at least 5 years.
  • Customer service with efficient project management is a plus.

Knowledge:

  • Project management (at least very good knowledge).
  • Process management (at least very good knowledge).

IT:

  • Google Workspace is an advantage.

Further Qualifications:

  • Experience in contract and international negotiations with external stakeholders (suppliers, customers) is desirable.

Language Skills:

  • German (at least well-versed).
  • English (at least business fluent).
