Job Summary

As the Revenue Management and Key Accounts leader for Europe, you will spearhead strategies to maximize revenue generation across our portfolio of hotels in the region. Your role encompasses two key areas: leading regional Revenue Management teams and developing/monitoring revenue management and distribution strategies for key accounts.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing rate plans for all hotels in the region, collaborating with EMEA Revenue Management on strategic design and implementation of new rate plans to address market requirements.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with key partners providing revenue management support, including rate plan consultations, system setup, and strategies to optimize revenue performance.
  • Providing training for Operations and Hotel teams on available rate plans, best practices, and revenue management strategies.
  • Selecting and overseeing third-party Revenue Management Service Providers who deliver tools and reporting systems to hotels.
  • Collaborating closely with sub-regional Operations and Commercial leaders to align on strategies that drive Wyndham's success.
  • Representing Wyndham at industry forums and events related to revenue management best practices and industry trends.

Complexity & Scope

This role demands strategic thinking, analysis, and training, alongside oversight of routine tasks, processes, and operations. You will define and deliver clearly prescribed policies and procedures, requiring strategic thinking and analysis to present options for review with internal and external stakeholders and line management.

Problems often involve a mix of solutions ranging from pre-designed options to bespoke developments. Your work actively contributes to new ideas and methods that directly impact hotel performance and departmental success. You will serve as a project team member working towards defined goals, requiring regular contact with property designated contacts, internal department interaction, and periodic contact with other departments for specialized information.

Your Impact

This position has a direct impact on revenue generation by ensuring Brand Standards, Revenue Management Policies, and Best Practices are implemented. These initiatives aim to generate incremental revenues, foster customer loyalty, and increase brand awareness for properties while minimizing opportunity costs associated with inadequate rates and inventory availability across various channels.

  • Deep understanding of revenue management principles and practices within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
