Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Accounting Expert to join our team in Waiblingen, Germany. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of accounts receivable accounting, including processing transactions in SAP, managing dunning processes, and contributing to the monthly and annual financial closings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of accounts receivable accounting, including processing transactions in SAP and managing dunning processes.
  • Contribute to the monthly and annual financial closings in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP (HGB).
  • Independently work on initiatives within the accounts receivable area, including implementing solutions for process optimization and harmonization.
  • Serve as a competent and reliable point of contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively utilize dashboards and KPIs to continuously improve process quality and efficiency and derive appropriate actions.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Financial Accounting or a comparable commercial education, supplemented by several years of relevant practical experience.
  • Have several years of operational Accounts Receivable Accounting experience.
  • Have collaborated with related fields, such as Customer Service, General Ledger Accounting, or Controlling.
  • Have solid knowledge in SAP within the FI module, with additional experience with SD or process automation being a plus.
  • Have previous initial involvement in projects, such as an active role in an SAP implementation or other process improvement initiatives.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English and comfortable in an international environment, with good German language skills being a strong advantage.
  • Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on results and a hands-on mentality.
