Research Associate in Structural Design
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team in the section for Structural Design at Leibniz Universität Hannover.
The successful candidate will be involved in teaching various courses offered by the Chair of Structural Design and prepare and carry out individual research projects.
We are looking for engineers with a strong focus on complex geometry, interested in sustainable architectural structures using digital technologies and manufacturing processes.
The position is limited to 3 years, with support of a doctoral dissertation.
Your Role
The Research Associate will be responsible for:
- Teaching various courses offered by the Chair of Structural Design
- Preparing and carrying out individual research projects
- Supporting individual doctoral dissertations
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A successful university degree in civil engineering
- A very good understanding of structural design and scientific research of structures, materials and construction processes
- Proficiency in German and English for teaching, researching and publishing
