Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of environmental markets, focusing on the European Emission Trading System (EU ETS) and the UK's Emission Trading System (UK ETS).
- Assist in the formulation of fundamental market models.
- Enhance our codebase to improve user experience and integrate new features.
- Prepare and analyze data for immediate assessments related to emission markets across Europe.
- Collect insights on market trends and forecast the behavior of market participants, particularly regarding anticipated decarbonization strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Engineering (preferably in energy, renewables, or sustainability systems) or (Energy) Economics.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Python (or a comparable programming language).
- Possess a proactive attitude, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Previous experience in energy and market modeling is advantageous.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written); proficiency in German is a plus.
