About Operations Engineering Division (OED)

OED is the central team that supports all Business Unit Design and Development teams, and other organizations including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Foundry Operations, and Test. This strong and highly qualified team provides a platform for managing all process technology and PDK development for both Internal and External Foundry processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement stable, innovative, and cost-effective processes in the area of Wafertest/Optical Outgoing Inspection (AOI).
  • Execute and implement appropriate control methods.
  • Plan and execute process experiments (DoEs).
  • Prepare production relevant documents and execute risk analyses.
  • Train shift personnel.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments and Renesas production sites worldwide.

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in electronics/electrical engineering or industrial electronics.
  • Independent work style and motivation.
  • Good command of English.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Practical experience in a process area in semiconductor manufacturing (wafer frontend or backend desirable).
  • Good knowledge of PC software; MS Office.
  • Programming knowledge is beneficial.
