Cloud Network Operations Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in the development of a Sovereign Cloud tailored for the German administration, utilizing Microsoft Azure and Office 365 technologies. This position offers the chance to be at the forefront of digital transformation and contribute significantly to the evolution of Germany's digital framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in specialized onboarding training facilitated by Microsoft professionals as part of the initial team.
  • Contribute to the establishment and efficient functioning of our Microsoft Cloud Services platform, ensuring a secure and effective digital administration.
  • Oversee the Sovereign Cloud Operations Center platform to guarantee uninterrupted network operations that adhere to the highest standards.
  • Design and enhance network operations to achieve optimal stability and security.
  • Continuously refine the efficiency and effectiveness of processes through the optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Technical Support Guides (TSGs), and Playbooks.
  • Proficiently diagnose and resolve network challenges, perform thorough root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures for future incidents.
  • Act as a liaison with hardware and connectivity vendors to ensure top-notch support services.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in constructing and managing network infrastructure, particularly in Wide Area Network (WAN) settings.
  • Familiarity with various network operating systems and protocols.
  • Experience in managing complex and critical enterprise services.
  • A solid grasp of technological principles and the capability to apply them effectively.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure or CCNP, JNCIP.
