Transport Management Specialist

BASF Services Europe GmbH is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Transport Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our divisions with a cross-functional network and modern solutions tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities
- You will process customer orders for transports from various business units ex Europe globally, focusing on sea freight, in compliance with legal, country, or customer regulations.
- You will fulfill customer-specific service agreements and order-related requirements.
- You will maintain the master data in our SAP system.
- You will process orders in accordance with the door-to-door accountability concept and monitor delivery reliability.
- You will coordinate the order-relevant activities of all units involved on the export side, such as transport management or loading points in Europe.
- You will work closely with the responsible import managers of the receiving regions to coordinate import activities.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship in logistics or a comparable field.
- Knowledge of distribution and warehouse logistics as well as transport management.
- Experience in MS Office and SAP R/3.
- Very good German and good English skills.
- Flexibility, commitment, and process-oriented thinking.
Benefits
- Gross annual salary (full-time): 33,000 - 37,000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience, 38,000 € - 44,000 € possible with correspondingly higher qualifications.
