Electromobility Software Development Trainee

Are you ready to shape the future of electromobility at Mercedes-Benz Group AG?

We are looking for a talented Trainee Electric Drive Unit Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for electric drive units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software components for electric drive units, from pre-development concepts to series launch and support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
  • Work at the intersection of software and hardware to advance the Mercedes-Benz electric drive vision
  • Contribute to the development of software knowledge in the heart of the electric drive unit

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Systems, or comparable field
  • Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
  • At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
  • Excellent knowledge of English - good German language skills are an advantage
  • Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends
  • Social commitment is preferred
