Electromobility Software Development Trainee

We are looking for a talented Software Trainee to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative electric drive units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop software components for electric drive units, from pre-development concepts to series launch and support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the Mercedes-Benz vision of sustainable, emission-free mobility
  • Gain deep insights into the world of driving functions of the electric drive unit and work at the intersection of software and hardware
  • Contribute to the development of drive train components, including inverter functionalities
Requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Systems, or a comparable field
  • Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
  • At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
  • Excellent knowledge of English - good German language skills are an advantage
  • Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends
  • Social commitment is preferred
