We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Global Human Resources team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with tax and social security regulations.
- Provide expert advice on payroll-related matters to employees and managers.
- Liaise with social insurance providers, tax office, and authorities to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement digitalization projects.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in human resources, with a focus on income tax and social security law or payroll.
- Completed commercial training or degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll-related topics, including holidays, part-time work, maternity leave, and parental leave.
- Knowledge of payroll accounting systems, ideally SAP (HCM).
- Fluent German and conversational English.
- Service-oriented, precise, and responsible work style, with strong communication and contact skills.
