HR Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Payroll Specialist to join our team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our Global Human Resources team, you will be responsible for managing the monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with tax and social security regulations, and providing expert advice to employees and managers on payroll-related matters.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide expert advice to employees and managers on payroll-related matters, including holidays, part-time work, maternity leave, and parental leave.
- Liaise with social insurance providers, the tax office, and authorities to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
- Collaborate with the team to work on digitalisation projects, driving innovation and efficiency in our HR processes.
- Several years of professional experience in human resources, with a focus on income tax and social security law or payroll.
- Completed commercial training or a degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll-related topics, including holidays, part-time work, maternity leave, and parental leave.
- Knowledge of payroll accounting systems, ideally SAP (HCM).
- Fluent German and conversational English.
- Service-oriented, precise, and responsible work style, with strong communication and contact skills.
- Flexibility: A hybrid work model with flexible working hours and 30 days of annual leave.
- Work Abroad: Up to 20 days a year within the EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
