About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical IT Security Expert to join our team in the eHealth division at secunet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research and development projects in the field of Medical IT Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research and development projects in Medical IT Security
- Provide internal services for Business Development and Product Management in the eHealth division, including the development of new products and portfolios
- Analyze the relevance of Medical IT Security standards and translate them into requirements for our product development
- Conduct risk analyses, develop security concepts, and evaluate security technologies
- Standardize Regulatory Management tasks in internal and external projects
- Participate in internal and external committees and associations related to Cyber Security for medical devices
- Lead research projects and consortia to define future security standards and security architectures for critical medical networks
Requirements
- You hold a successful degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent experience and training in IT
- You have excellent knowledge of common standards, regulations, and guidelines in IT and Information Security, as well as in the healthcare sector, including ISO 27001, IT-Grundschutz, NIS-Richtlinie, and IT-Sicherheitsgesetz
- You have basic project management skills
- It would be beneficial if you have experience or interest in participating in research projects
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic
- You have the ability to work independently and have a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
