About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Innovation Leader (f/m/d) - Standardization and Industrialization to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our Process Engineering Assembly department, you will be responsible for defining and improving standards for production processes and procedures, including specifications for production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process standards and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to industrialize production systems from concept creation through to handover to production.
  • Support customer teams in acquisition with the creation of production concepts and investment planning.
  • Monitor the implementation of defined processes and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Transfer lessons learned and knowledge globally and conduct technology audits at our production sites to implement defined standards.
  • Support process-related Value Added/Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities within production and provide global support for the process department.
  • Conduct training within Process Engineering Assembly to ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Support and execute Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA) and implement Six Sigma strategies for process optimization and scrap reduction.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training or degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
  • Several years of experience in quality, production, process, project management, or comparable, ideally in the automotive industry and preferably abroad in the field of process or production technology.
  • Six Sigma training as a Green or Black Belt, VDA 6.3/6.5 training, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office.
  • A careful and conscientious way of working.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, with another foreign language such as Spanish or Chinese being an advantage.
