Energy Survey Manager

At ib vogt GmbH, a leading pioneer in the field of renewable energy, we are seeking an experienced Energy Survey Manager to join our team.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing local 3rd party surveying firms who will be tasked to survey our project sites.
- Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
- The Energy Survey Manager will verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Coordination of findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others involved in projects is also a key aspect of this role.
- The position involves establishing fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.
- Operating and maintaining surveying equipment, including LIDAR and Photogrammetry techniques, GPS, total stations, and levels, is another essential duty.
- The successful candidate will analyze survey objectives and specifications to prepare survey proposals or direct others in survey proposal preparation.
- Providing training and supervision to junior survey staff is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying or a related field is necessary.
- Proficiency in surveying software, GIS, and CAD programs is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are crucial.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential qualities.
- Fluent and professional proficiency in English is mandatory; German language skills are highly valued.
