Import Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Import Operations Supervisor to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our import operations team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling import activities on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers, resolving concerns and interacting with customer service, operations, and sales personnel to resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
- Supervise import documentation and oversee the obtaining and processing of Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate.
- Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs, or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years related experience
- Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred
- Minimum three years supervisory experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification may be required in some areas
