Overview of the Position

ITT Bornemann GmbH, a leader in the development and production of pumps and pump systems, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Obernkirchen. As a member of the site leadership team, this individual will play a crucial role in driving business decisions, strategic planning, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships across departments, providing financial insights and encouraging continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the financial team to analyze business data, identify areas for improvement, and implement financial strategies to drive profitability.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the operation, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's growth and profit goals.
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of financial reports, including monthly financial statements and ad-hoc reports as required.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of financial management experience, with both financial and general accounting background in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with US GAAP and SOX is required, ideally experience in working in a US-company.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, financial planning, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software such as OneStream, Hyperion, and Essbase.
