Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team at experts for professionals. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our clients' products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute supplier audits and potential analyses in accordance with the VDA 6.3 standard
  • Active participation in the selection process of new suppliers
  • Evaluation and assessment of existing suppliers, as well as approval of new suppliers
  • Support of preventive quality assurance measures at the supplier level
  • Analysis and processing of quality problems related to suppliers
  • Management of escalations related to supplier problems
  • Implementation and monitoring of measures to improve quality at suppliers
  • Execution of quality-related project activities

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in the field of natural or engineering sciences or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in quality management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the automotive industry and expertise in supplier management
  • VDA 6.3 Auditor certification desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of quality management standards IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, as well as quality tools: 8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, as well as strong team skills
  • Fluent English skills and very good German skills (C1) in writing and speaking
