Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for quality-related issues in customer projects.
  • Assist project management and clients with all quality matters.
  • Oversee planning and coordination within the quality control framework of the project.
  • Facilitate the documentation requirements for both internal and external suppliers.
  • Review and approve quality documentation from manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Conduct risk assessments in supplier management and support risk management initiatives.
  • Allocate internal resources and manage their tasks within the quality department.
  • Develop purchase specifications, quality control plans, and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of defect catalogs in FMEAs to minimize quality issues.
  • Collaborate with the project team to finalize control plans and oversee installation and commissioning.
  • Initiate and manage complaints as necessary.
  • Establish standards for data-driven qualification and validation protocols (product, process, equipment) and ensure their implementation.

Your Qualifications

  • A technical degree in plant engineering, mechanical engineering, quality management, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and/or plant and mechanical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC systems, particularly ISO:9001 standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365; familiarity with SAP, Atlassian, and the Pressure Equipment Directive is a plus.
  • A collaborative and customer-focused approach to work.
  • A responsible, solution-oriented mindset and proactive thinking that contribute to effective teamwork.
  • A valid class B driver's license and willingness to travel as required (up to 40% depending on the project).
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
