About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Controller to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our R&D department, you will play a crucial role in driving our innovation and development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise the Klüber management and R&D department on strategic decisions
  • Develop and implement global standards for R&D controlling and management information systems
  • Ensure profitability of product developments using target costing approach
  • Provide transparent and continuous project controlling to ensure long-term project profitability
  • Support the further development of the company-wide BI/Data Warehouse system as a key user for R&D
  • Collaborate with cost center managers in the R&D area to support planning
  • Prepare analyses and comments for Group reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements)
  • Conduct profitability analyses and evaluate investments in the R&D area

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in business administration, economics, or business informatics, or a commercial apprenticeship
  • Several years of professional experience in operational R&D controlling in an international industrial company
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for conceptual work and presentation of complex interrelationships
  • Personal initiative, ability to work in a team, and openness to new ideas
  • Very good German and good English skills, as well as communication skills
