Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller R&D Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for advising the management and R&D team on financial matters, defining global standards for R&D controlling, and setting up a management information and performance indicator system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the Klüber management and R&D department on financial matters.
- Define global standards for R&D controlling and set up a management information and performance indicator system.
- Ensure the profitability of product developments using the target costing approach.
- Ensure project profitability in the long term through transparent, continuous project controlling.
- Support the further development of the company-wide BI/Data Warehouse system as a key user for R&D.
- Support the cost center managers in the R&D area with their planning.
- Prepare analyses and comments for the Munich site as part of Group reporting.
- Carry out profitability analyses and evaluate investments in the R&D area.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of studies in business administration, economics, or business informatics, or a commercial apprenticeship.
- Several years of professional experience in operational R&D controlling in an international industrial company.
- Comfortable and confident working with MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP.
- Successful use of analytical and problem-solving skills for conceptual work and the presentation of complex interrelationships.
- Personal initiative, ability to work in a team, and openness to new ideas.
- Very good German and good English skills, as well as communication skills.
