Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Downstream Process Development team at CSL. As a key member of our Recombinant Process Development department, you will be responsible for providing scientific expertise and leadership to develop state-of-the-art purification processes for recombinant proteins.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Downstream Process Development team to design and develop innovative purification processes for recombinant proteins.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members to ensure successful technology transfer from product development to GMP manufacturing.
- Develop and implement a risk-based Quality by Design (QbD) approach to ensure high-quality protein purification processes.
- Set project objectives and implement scientific and technical strategies to drive process development.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies in protein purification and drive the exploration and implementation of innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in downstream process development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven ability to manage and contribute to high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience working in cross-functional, multicultural, and international teams.
