Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our Theoretical Chemical Physics (TCP) group, led by Prof. Alexandre Tkatchenko. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel quantum Monte Carlo methods for the study of van der Waals interactions in molecular systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research under the guidance of Prof. Tkatchenko
  • Contribute to the QMeCha QMC code development
  • Collaborate with the TCP group on various research projects
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or Computational Science
  • Knowledge of QMC methods or quantum chemistry methods
  • Programming experience in C, Fortran, and/or Python
  • Good command of written and spoken English
