About the Job

The University of Luxembourg is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Applied Security and Information Assurance (APSIA) research group. The successful candidate will contribute to the group's research goals in the area of secure systems and cryptography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in the area of quantum cryptography and post-quantum cryptography
  • Collaborate with the APSIA team to design and analyze secure systems and cryptographic protocols
  • Contribute to the development of quantum-safe algorithms and protocols
  • Disseminate research results through scientific publications
Requirements
  • PhD degree in Computer Science, Theoretical Physics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong mathematical and/or algorithmic CS background
  • Knowledge on quantum-safe algorithms is considered a bonus
  • Good skills in programming, especially PQ cryptography development, is considered desirable
