Azure Data Architect

Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable data solutions using Azure services such as Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Functions.
- Develop and maintain data models and data schemas to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing.
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to ingest, transform, and load data from various structured and unstructured data sources.
- Implement real-time data streaming solutions using Azure Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics, and Databricks.
- Utilize Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for deploying and scaling Azure resources, ensuring infrastructure is reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate data solutions with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized workloads.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability, including the use of Azure Functions for serverless data processing.
- Implement data processing and transformation jobs in Databricks, leveraging Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Design and implement real-time data processing architectures using Azure Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics, and Synapse Analytics.
- Ensure low-latency data streaming and real-time analytics to support business-critical applications.
- Implement security best practices for data storage, access, and processing, including encryption, identity management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data governance policies throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor the performance and health of data pipelines and cloud resources, implementing optimizations as needed to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
- Document data solutions, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainable systems.
