About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically-minded Trainee (m/w/d) Vendor Management to join our Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch) team in Munich. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects and develop your skills in a dynamic and international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Connect with new suppliers, negotiate conditions, and develop marketing strategies
  • Work together with international teams from Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Finance to continuously improve the customer experience in your product category
  • Learn all relevant processes of our Retail business
  • Take ownership of financial responsibility for a multimillion-dollar product line in one of our retail categories
About the Program

The 24-month trainee program includes rotations in various areas, such as Advertising, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Prime Management, Amazon Business, and Amazon Fresh. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects to improve the customer experience at Amazon and take on a position in our Vendor Management teams at the end of the program.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics or similar
  • Minimum two internships completed (ideally in the areas of E-Commerce, Consulting, Sales, or Logistics, Engineering, Finance)
  • Experience in an international environment (ideally through a semester or internship abroad)
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English is a mandatory requirement
  • Experience working with Excel (vlookup, indexmatch, pivot tables, etc.)
