Job Title: Automation Proposal Specialist

ME-Automation Projects GmbH is a leading provider of automation solutions for industrial projects. We are seeking an experienced Automation Proposal Specialist to join our team in Kassel, Germany.

Job Summary

The Automation Proposal Specialist will be responsible for generating technically accurate and commercially competitive proposals for automation project opportunities based on Mitsubishi Electric's Distributed Control System PMSXpro and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system Genesis64.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering of the proposed solution based on customer requirements and Mitsubishi Electric's portfolio
  • Creation and support of the sales responsible in negotiation of technical and commercial deviations with the help of solutions management and contracts management departments
  • Support of sales responsible in clarification and negotiation of prepared proposals with the customers
  • Support of sales responsible in transferring won projects to the project execution organization
Requirements
  • University degree in electrical engineering with specialization in automation, control or electronics from an accredited university or equivalent training and experience
  • Detailed knowledge of automation and control technologies and solutions specifically Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
  • Knowledge of process plants engineering as well as instrumentation shall be considered beneficial
  • Past experience of generating proposals for industrial solutions and/or working experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition Systems
  • Multiple years of experience in solution and project business especially in growth cycle
  • International work experience and exposure
  • High level of inter-cultural sensitivity with the ability to function well in an extremely international environment
  • Fluent in business English and German
