Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Manager to join our team at Prysmian Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising HSE activities within projects, ensuring compliance with company methods, contractual requirements, and relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project HSE management strategy and activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist company functions and project teams in dealing with clients on Health, Safety, and Environment-related issues.
  • Ensure all HSE activities at project level are carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, client requirements, international standards, and company Environmental and Safety Standards.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing HSE teams to ensure compliance with company policy and project requirements.
  • Ensure vessel operations comply with ISM Code rules, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
  • Assist project teams in Risk Management processes, including HAZID and HAZOP.
  • Facilitate accidents/incidents investigation and analyze accident/incident statistics to identify trends and suggest improvement plans.
  • Conduct HSE audits, both internal and external, during prequalification and project phases.
  • Develop and perform project safety training programs to promote a safety behavioral culture within the organization and toward suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the development, planning, implementation, updating, review, and auditing of the Company HSE Management System and its application within projects.
  • Lead the planning, collection, management, and analysis of HSE indicators.

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of HSE Management experience within EPCI work environments, including Onshore and Offshore Construction and Installation activities, and vessel operation.
  • Technical Degree (engineering).
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 series standards, experience in preparation and maintenance of HSE Management Systems, and auditing experience.
  • Strong leadership, team player, people management/influencing, and organizational skills.
  • High PC literacy.
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken; other languages a plus.
  • Used to working in international and multicultural environments.
  • Familiar with HAZOP and HAZID methodologies.
  • Familiar with the International Maritime Organization ISM Code (International Safety Management Code).
