About the Role

Eurex Clearing AG is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As an Equity Clearing Officer, you will be responsible for operating risk management systems and working on key processes within the Clearinghouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate risk management systems for listed products
  • Manage Eurex Clearing's risk positions on a day-to-day basis
  • Provide support to members as the first point of contact for client requests
  • Design, develop, and test risk management systems and methods
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic risk projects
  • Communicate risk matters to Senior Management, IT departments, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

  • Economics, finance, mathematics, physics, financial engineering, or computer science degree
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products, as well as clearing activities of Eurex Clearing AG
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in risk management
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Efficient team player with a high degree of results orientation and organizational self-reliance
  • Database and SQL skills a plus
  • Commitment to shift work and availability on public holidays
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional German language skills a plus
