Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Logistics Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing our third-party logistics partners and ensuring the smooth delivery of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our third-party logistics partners to ensure they meet our high standards for delivery and customer service.
  • Logistics Planning: Collaborate with our operations team to plan and execute logistics operations, including route optimization and capacity planning.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze and report on key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve our logistics processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in logistics or a related field, with a proven track record of managing third-party logistics partners and improving logistics processes.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification: Certification in Lean Six Sigma or a related process improvement methodology.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience managing projects, including developing project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and tracking progress.
