Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Amazon Logistics (AMZL). As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of packages to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Guide DSPs in scaling their businesses and managing operational issues, ensuring they have resources in place to effectively ramp-up operations and prepare for peak periods.
- Support DSPs in onboarding to the program and preparing to launch new businesses.
- Coach DSPs to run compliant, safe, and high-performing companies, with a focus on improving SLS metrics.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement operational improvements at the network level to enhance the individual DSP owner experience.
- Develop relationships between Amazon and DSP partners to improve sentiment and drive business growth.
- Communicate effectively with DSP business owners, working closely with OTR partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in operations, last mile, or account/relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management.
- Experience working with third-party resources on a regional/national scale.
- Experience working with a contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons.
- Strong analytical capability, with a track record of digging into data and finding solutions for operational problems.
- Flexibility to work occasional non-standard working hours during peak periods.
- Advanced proficiency in English and German.
- Experience leading process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Experience project planning in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and writing.
- Enjoys analytical work and using data to provide thought-provoking solutions.
- Proven experience of helping teams achieve goals.
