IT Network Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT Network Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our operations. This position focuses on the management and upkeep of LAN/WLAN network systems, troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues, improving current network configurations, and guaranteeing the reliability and availability of services. The successful candidate should possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience, along with certifications from CISCO, Check Point, or Microsoft. Expertise in CISCO and Microsoft technologies, familiarity with ITIL-based Service Desk practices, and excellent communication abilities in both German and English are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain network systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues
  • Enhance existing network configurations
  • Guarantee service reliability and availability
  • Engage in projects and oversee project-related tasks
  • Deliver customer-focused communication

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or at least five years of relevant experience
  • Certification from CISCO, Check Point, or Microsoft
  • Experience with CISCO Nexus, Routing/Switching, PRIME Infrastructure, WLC/Wireless Infrastructure, Check Point Firewall, Microsoft NPS, TMG/UAG
  • Proficiency in ITIL-based Service Desk
  • Support for end users
  • Experience with contemporary IT infrastructures
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
